   Arts Society of Kingston.  (ASK)  Our mission is to enrich the quality of life by bringing artistic experiences to the communities of Kingston, Ulster and Dutchess Counties and the Mid-Hudson Valley. ASK provides a rich and vibrant range of visual art exhibitions, performances, workshops, classes, and other arts-related events in its multi-arts facility. 


 The Ashokan Center; Inspiring learning and building community through shared experiences in nature, history, music and art.


 

The Mission of the Benedictine Health Foundation is to raise and distribute financial resources to those struggling with a cancer diagnosis and whose financial means limit their ability to access or receive the care that they need. We provide assistance to Ulster County residents and their families or those from neighboring counties receiving medical services in Ulster County.


 
 The Boys & Girls Club is and has been there for the many youth of Ulster County. The Clubs provide them with a sense of belonging and a sense of accomplishment.


 

 Breast Cancer Options; Our Mission is to educate breast cancer patients about effective treatment options, to advocate for and support informed patient choice and to promote public awareness regarding cancer risk reduction. 


 

  Catskill Animal Sanctuary; Catskill Animal Sanctuary is a 150-acre refuge in New York’s Hudson Valley for 11 species of farmed animals rescued from cruelty, neglect and abandonment. 


 

 Cancer Assistance for Parents 

The mission of the Cancer Assistance for Parents Fund, Inc. is to assist families financially in dealing with the complications of cancer.

From diagnosis to treatment to recovery, we want to rally the community to provide a helping hand for families. Our goal is to relieve some of the financial burden put on the family so we can all be part of the fight against cancer.


   Christmas Wishes Of Ulster County; we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in making the world a better place for all by helping those in need. We are a non-profit organization founded in 2014 in hopes of helping families during the Christmas season. With help from generous donors and volunteers, we are now able to help families all year long!


  The Community Foundations of the Hudson Valley works to strengthen our community by helping individuals, businesses and organizations establish and administer funds that support vital causes and charities. Partnering with our generous donors, we address current and emerging community needs through effective grantmaking to improve the quality of life for all. Additionally, we provide technical assistance to help nonprofits operate more effectively.


  Dayna's Dream Team For Cystic Fibrosis; to cure cystic fibrosis and to provide all people with CF the opportunity to lead long, fulfilling lives by funding research and drug development, partnering with the CF community, and advancing high-quality, specialized care. Dayna’s Dream team has been supporting Poughkeepsie Great Strides for 16 years, raising more than $300,000 for all CF Fighters like Dayna.


 

 The Fallen Heroes Foundation mission, is “To help the families of volunteer firefighters killed in the line of duty”.


 

 Family of Woodstock, Inc. (New Paltz / Kingston / Ellenville) is a network of individuals, paid and volunteer, whose mission is to provide confidential and fully accessible crisis intervention, information, prevention, and support services to address the needs of individuals and families.


   Gateway Hudson Valley assists people in choosing, acquiring, using, and maintaining the skills and supports necessary to achieve success and satisfaction in their lives. We accomplish this through integrated vocational, therapeutic, residential, and business services.


   Creating opportunities which stimulate, inspire and develop a responsibility to empower each other with hope through offerings and activities which demonstrate the goodness and interconnectedness of people. Creating experiences which provide those who struggle with issues of mental and social uncertainty a connection where previously little or no connection was perceived.


 

 The Hudson Valley National Center for Veteran Reintegration works to empower our military men and women to live successful, fulfilling lives. The mission of the Center is to provide support for both our current military personnel while they are back home and our veterans by assisting them with their transition back into civilian life. 


 

 Hudson Valley Hospice; At Hudson Valley Hospice, our mission is to serve the people of Dutchess and Ulster Counties by enhancing the quality of living for those at the end of life.


 

Hudson Valley LGBTQ Community Center; The Center’s mission is to strengthen, support, and celebrate our diverse LGBTQ+ community in achieving its fullest potential and creating a more equitable world.  


 

 Lions Club of Kingston; From the very beginning, a major objective of the Club has been its work for the blind and sight-impaired through its Sight Conservation Committee. The Club has been very active in a number of other projects as well, including speech and hearing, drug awareness and diabetes detection. Other projects cover such area as youth activities, civic improvement and community betterment.


  Mental Health Association Of Ulster County; The MHA mission is to engage all people in achieving their optimal mental health by providing innovative and compassionate services that educate, advocate, prevent and heal. 


 Mentor Me of Ulster County’s mission is to match at-risk youth to inspiring mentors focused on whole person wellness and supportive relationships. We pride ourselves in recognizing that every child comes from a unique background and experiences toxic stress and life situations in different ways. 


 

  Nothing but Love Canine Foundation; Founded by Valerie and Bruce Ellsworth in 2020, Nothing But Love Canine Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing financial assistance with spaying, neutering, and heartworm treatment for rescue dogs in need. It is our core belief that every dog should have access to spay, neuter, and heartworm treatment to ensure healthy dogs can be placed in permanent loving homes. We believe dogs don’t belong in shelters and as we approach this goal it is our hope that there will no longer be a need for “kill” shelters.


 

   We support domestic violence and homeless families and other "at risk" communities so that they know they are not 4gotten.


 

Underinsured artists and musicians create and perform in exchange for a variety of services donated by doctors, dentists and complementary care providers. O+ (pronounced O Positive) calls this exchange the art of medicine for the medicine of art.


 

 People's Place is a not-for-profit organization feeding, clothing and responding to the needs of the people in Ulster County with kindness, compassion and the preservation of human dignity since 1972.


  The mission of R.Y.A.N. is to promote sub-stance abuse awareness, share our family’s journey to dispel the myths of addiction, eliminate the stigma that is attached to it, and to support organizations that provide healthy programs for the youth of our community.


 Resource Center For Accessible Living; RCAL’s mission is to facilitate independence, choice, accessibility, and participation in all aspects of life.


   Rosemary Gruner Bike For Cancer; The Bike for Cancer Care is how we raise money to support cancer patients in our community. 


 
 The Rochester Food Pantry is a non-profit and equal opportunity organization run entirely by about 40 dedicated volunteers.  The food pantry has been serving the food needs of those in the Town of Rochester since 1992 and recently expanded to include all neighbors in the 12446 zip code.

  The Childrens Home Of Kingston; We provide a progressive range of services for boys and young men ages 8 to 21 whose personal, social, developmental, or family situations preclude them from living at home or in a less restrictive setting, and who may benefit from milieu therapy, active psycho-therapeutic interventions, and specialized care.


 
 The Junior League of Kingston, NY, Inc., is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.  Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable. 


  Ulster Community Action; We help those who are struggling to provide the basic needs for themselves and/or their families.


 

 Ulster County Habitat For Humanity; Ulster County Habitat for Humanity was founded in 1996 by a group of dedicated volunteers who shared a vision to help local, hard-working, low-income families help themselves create strength, stability, and self-reliance through home ownership. By the end of 2021, Ulster Habitat will have built/renovated 20 homes in our community. We serve families earning between 50-70% of Area Median Income who have demonstrated a willingness to partner with Ulster Habitat by investing in sweat equity in the construction of our homes, attending home buyer education classes, and successfully obtaining an affordable mortgage.  Our ReStore has been open since 2013 and accepts donated gently used home furnishings, appliances and construction materials and sells them to the public at a fraction of their retail price.  Ulster Habitat is a vital part of our community, working together to make the dream of home ownership affordable and available to all.


  Ulster County SPCA; The UCSPCA is a private, nonprofit organization whose mission is to prevent cruelty to animals by providing temporary shelter and finding adoptive homes for homeless, abused and neglected animals; conducting cruelty investigations; eliminating the crisis of homeless animals by providing low-cost spay/neuter services for cats and by spaying or neutering all animals offered for adoption; providing humane education and by working to improve laws to end animal cruelty.


 Ulster Literacy Association; For 40 years, Ulster Literacy has been welcoming adult learners from all walks of life to learn basic reading skills as well as English as a new language in a safe, confidential setting. With the support of a trained volunteer tutor, our learners achieve goals like getting a driver’s license, attending a parent/teacher conference, becoming a citizen, or finding and keeping a good job.


  United Way Of Ulster County; We believe that it is the right of every individual in Ulster County to have programs and services available to help them achieve their greatest potential.


 Villa Veritas Foundation; Villa Veritas offers a relaxing refuge to help those struggling with addiction. With a homelike setting in the main house and acres of woodlands, we provide comfort and safety.


 YMCA Of Kingston; The YMCA is an open, inclusive interfaith movement which advocates Christian principles through programs that build character, respond to community needs and help build spirit, mind, and body for all.
