Peggy Maldonado Associate Broker

EXPERIENCE: Peggy’s real estate experience started from the ground up when she joined a local real estate brokerage firm in Uptown Kingston in 1985 as the bookkeeper and administrative assistant. She became a NYS licensed Real Estate Salesperson in 1989 and in subsequent years obtained her Brokers license. Peggy remained with that firm for many years expanding into management and gaining a variety of real estate experiences including knowledge of the special needs of Relocation and Corporate owned properties as well as Bank owned residential foreclosures (REOs). Completing close to 800 Broker Price Opinions over the years for clients such as Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and a variety of lending institutions, her experience with pricing out a house is well received by sellers looking for assistance with the pricing of their home as they prepare to list their property for sale.

DEDICATION: Since Peggy began her real estate career, she has experienced vast changes over the years in the real estate market trends from “Seller’s Markets” to “Buyer’s Markets” and is ready to meet any challenges that may lie ahead. Honesty , Integrity and a Never Say No attitude have been Peggy’s standard in the past and will continue to see her through the ever changing real estate industry in the future. PERSONAL: Peggy has been a resident of Ulster County since childhood, growing up in Mt. Tremper (in the Town of Shandaken) and West Shokan (in the Town of Olive) and is an Onteora graduate. She currently resides in the Town of Olive with her husband, Edwin and their daughter.
